Women in Digital Infrastructure Empowerment Program (WDIEP)
Washington D.C., On March 30th, 2026, IDCA Global Foundation has announced that is launching the Women in Digital Infrastructure Empowerment Program (WDIEP), a global program designed to train, certify, and place women into careers in digital infrastructure.
As digital infrastructure becomes the backbone of modern economies, the demand for skilled talent is rapidly increasing. Yet women remain significantly underrepresented across the sector, particularly in technical and operational roles. Addressing this gap is both an inclusion imperative and an economic necessity.
WDII is designed as a full workforce integration pipeline. Participants are not trained in isolation. The program aligns training and certification with real industry demand and connects women directly to employment opportunities across data centers, cloud infrastructure, fiber networks, and AI-related systems.
The Foundation works with governments to embed digital infrastructure roles within national labor frameworks, ensuring that certifications are formally recognized and that participants benefit from long-term labor market mobility. At the same time, the Foundation engages with industry employers to map job vacancies and align training pathways with current and projected workforce needs.

The initiative will launch in June 2026, with an initial cohort of 1,000 women, and is designed to scale globally through partnerships with governments, industry, and development actors. The plan is to involve tens of thousands of women.
WDII reflects the IDCA Global Foundation’s commitment to ensuring that the expansion of digital infrastructure and artificial intelligence remains human-centered, inclusive, and aligned with sustainable economic development.
Donation & Tax-Exempt Status Disclosure
IDCA Global Foundation has submitted an application to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for recognition of tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is currently accepting charitable contributions in support of its mission for Women’s Empowerment Program.
While the application is under review, the Foundation is prepared to receive donations and will ensure that all funds are used exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, in full compliance with applicable IRS rules and regulations, as well as donors’ internal policies and requirements.
Once tax-exempt status is approved, such recognition is generally effective retroactively to the Foundation’s date of formation, and contributions made after that date may be considered tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Donors are encouraged to consult their own tax advisors regarding the deductibility of their contributions.
